| so I just got a new computer but it has that garbage windows 8
& the 4gig enabler among other things are not working
anyone with windows 8 can help?:/ |

| Are you trying to play fallout 3 or fallout new vegas? Second where do you install the game? |

| fnv through steam
I could run the game through nvse but when I use the 4gig enable compatible for nvse
I get out of memory error |

| Now assuming I've installed my 4gig enable correctly I don't run into that problem so I have no idea whats causing it. hopefully someone with more knowldge than myself can help. |

| Yes I do have window 8 and I did have low memory problems before I installed the 4 gig enable. I also have the stutter remover to if memory serves me right. You might want to try that either separately or in conjunction to see if that helps. |

| I was able to get the original one to work
but i need the one compatible with both enb & nvse & that is not working |

| Have you tried going to the fallout new vegas nexus and posting their for help or asking one of the more technically inclined members here? Just a thought. |

| The one compatible with NVSE has been working for me since the start and I use Windows 8. Could be another issue. Aren't they all compatible with enb? You just need to put the enb files in the exes folder. |

| One trick I know is upgrading Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 fixes the problem in GECK with contitions in effects being invisible because the columns are all squashed to the left. |

| BTW i fixed it all you have to do is to get a monitor for the enb to work thats what i did:D

| Is your system better than you previous one as windows 8 ,may not be the issue as the other day i was playing new Vegas on windows 7 and i got the message saying out of memory and i have 12GBs of RAM and 4GB of VRAM for the graphics card.If it's starting up issues then your best bet is too email the NVSE team also you could look at this :http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/251916-4gb-fallout-new-vegas/page-82 and see if it helps if not try running the game in windows 7 compatibility mode. _________________  |
