Heelloo all :hellobig: , I didn't show up here on the forums for a long time because I don't have much time
So I just got Windows 10 and it is great for me! but...When I started my fallout 3 (and New Vegas) the ENB didn't work, so no good looking game, I tried other ENB's but it just didn't work, so I just got the original fallout look

does someone knows how to fix this?

mmmmmmm did not have that issue in fnv .... but fo3 has many issues with os's .....

Weird. I have never had much crash ENB related, let alone instantly on start up on Windows 10. Skyrim of course.

Yes this issues are limited to only some people , its rather odd but hopefully it wont cause that much problems for win 10 users

Essentially the reason i went back to Windows 7, ENB's were a mess, some worked, some didn't. I always needed Administrator permissions to do basic things i never had to deal with in 7. Until Windows 10 gets it's shit together, i'm gonna be enjoying 7 for now. lol

I don't remember the exact commands, but I read the deleting the Xbox integration stuff using PowerShell has fixed the ENB crash for some people.

I have windows 10 and I can play NV and FO 3 with enb. not sure if your load order or something is out of place, but it's not windows 10's fault. Sometimes when people do a clean install things corrupt.

Well, My Fallout New Vegas doesn't even startup anymore, So I think I have to reinstall it maybe...I don't know

I'm having an issue with ENB on Skyrim with Windows 10 (at least I think it's Windows 10), where the ENB loads up, but any values from the ENB have no effect, I basically have just gross bloom. I've tried many different ENBs, with the same result.

I can't say much about ENB's on FO3 as the game never worked and the only way I can play it is through a Tale of Two Wastelands. As for New Vegas, I can use ENBs just find on Windows 10 with the only issue being that sometimes there are transparency issues.

Essentially this, I fixed Fallout to some degree, but then Skyrim was a no go, nothing i did worked, Windows 10 destroyed my perfect setup for those games. kek

I'm not sure what caused your Skyrim to stopped working with ENBs. Maybe it's a different in installation of Windows 10? I saw lots of people chose the option to keep all the data when install Windows 10. I chose a clean install option, and re-install some of the older DirectX and stuff for older games. I have no problem with my Skyrim at all.

While my Skyrim works perfectly on Win10, my FNV refuses to work with or without ENB. I mean, when I don't have ENB installed, FNV Launcher just crashes, but with ENB it gives me a non-responsive black screen (I also can hear the menu music). I've tried installing missing Direct X files, tried making new Fallout.ini's, tried filling the "exes" folder, some other stuff like validating files, etc etc. Nothing.

Well Skyrim runs fine, and the ENB launches, but it doesn't look anywhere near what it should.
This is with Vanilla Ice Cream ENB

I have updated Drivers, and all the necessary stuff to play Skyrim, so I'm completely lost as what to do next.

Windows 10 has this strange fixation on Administrator control and the compatibility packages you can use for certain games. Like in order to play Deus Ex i needed to set compatibility to Windows 98 and have administrator rights turned on as well. This applies to most of Bethesda's games as well.

Microsoft has disabled the full Administrator rights by default, which is definitely stupid. You need to press win+x and enable full administrator rights via cmd if I remember correctly. Or maybe there's easier way which I don't recall. Anyway, when you do that, it stops being annoying.

I'll try that when i decide to reinstall W10 Dio-kun, till then W7 will be my main bish. kek

Weird. We seems to have the same problem . Skyrim works fine with ENB (and works correctly), my FNV did ran into black screen with music before but I somehow fixed that (it's been months I don't quite remember what I did), ,but it only progresses me further into the screen with the background with but no options at all so I couldn't start my game so I kinda give up since then since I rarely play FNV anymore and only focuses on Skyrim after finishing it numerous times .

My issue turned out to be a problem with the smaa of the ENB and some others, so if I just rename dxgi.dll then it's fixed.

For me the solution was to double click the d3d9.dll file the one in my main fnv directory, and the exes folder. Windows 10 then told me it was malicious malware i know its not, then i hit more info and hit run anyway and since then it has worked hope u find a solution. I spent 6 hours figuring it out hope u find it soon good luck.
