Oh man this made my day! The hairs on my arms stood up watching this trailer and all the memories of The Clone Wars rushed back. I share the same excitement as you!

Didn't even realize that they're was a whole save the Clone Wars movement,but I can get behind it. I always enjoyed The Clone Wars Animated series and felt disappointed with Rebels because I felt that it was too kid-friendly. Well,here's hoping that the Clone Wars comes back in it's prime.

Well now... this is certainly something good to wake up too. Glad I got up for that glass of water I remember watching the unfinished episode reels of season 7 from back in the day, this seems to be something completely different from that. The siege of Mandalore, perhaps? Hm.
Glad to see Obi-Wan wearing his old robes, too. Though I've gotten used to the battle armor he wore for the entirety of the series, it wouldn't make sense to leave him in those so close to the end of RoTS.

I knew there was about a season and a half's worth of unfinished content leftover of TCW, but never thought I'd see the day they would actually be finished. Yea boiiii. Can't wait for this! Probs the only good and awesome Star Wars related news I've heard about in months.

Lol this pathetic attempt at making the fans happy again looks like Disney is trying to pull a bungie but it's too little too late for both franchises they're both finished it's really quite sad I can't wait to see how they fuck this up hopefully it will be done comically.

I'm not excited, just... Cautiously optimistic. Definitely not paying for it - Disney is too good at screwing up Star Wars for me to go all in on this.

I dunno, man. I, for one, am pretty darn excited. I mean, we've got Filoni and the entire cast and crew back to wrap up their own show. The Netflix-exclusive season 6 was in my opinion one of the show's best, and that was given the O.K. by Disney after the show was originally cancelled, too. I think we'll be okay.

This was the best news I gotten in the morning when I awoke from my slumber. Messages from friends tellin that the HYPE is real. At first I thought it was a hoax as I wonder why Disney would revive the show they cancelled, not only due to rights by Cartoon Network but also because of the violence shown - but the various tweets by the voice actors and creators silenced those doubts.
Though a small part of me has doubts of how Disney would portray their version of the Clone Wars - it would suck if they don't show death on screen. But I'm still eager to see the Siege of Mandalore play out on screen.

It's only 12 episodes, I wonder if they'll be able to cover whatever stories were left while also getting up to the end of the Clone Wars.

This. While Rebels may have not been the best thing ever, I enjoyed it. And you can't deny that Filoni is a helluva story teller. I understand why Rebels was cut short, since he didn't want another Clone Wars incident.
I also feel like there's a possibility that the "old violence" will be in there, since it'll be on Disney's streaming service so it's not like kids can just come across it as easily. Also Rebels had a few dark moments. Like when Ezra was mind controlling a walker pilot and made him kill other troopers them forced him to walk off the edge of a platform.

I really liked Rebels. Maybe even as much as Clone Wars, including it's lighter moments. When it ended, it wasn't that they just chose on their own, it's just unlike with TCW they were given a chance to wrap things up. Rebels was canned to make way for a sequel era show.
