Hey all, I'm Der Vampir. (yes Der Vampir, not Derp Vampire, trust me when I say I didn't forget the p or the e, well, I think I didn't at least)
I've had an account on here for a little while but haven't made an introductory post until now, but I thought why not so here I am.
I came to VGU because it is in fact a goldmine of talent, great mods and a good thriving community, I like the nexus and all but sometimes a few of the people there just sort of make a me feel a bit eh. Seems now a days I mostly see bashing/complaining in the comments section there and the like, not to say its all like that though, there are good people there. So far from my stay here everyone seems to be a half decent human and or humanoid creature so that's a plus.
I myself am not a huge mod maker, though I have dabbled a bit over time, mostly in the writing and ideas part.
Currently the only projects I am contributing to are Dust:Survival Simulator which can be found on the nexus (scroll over Dust for the link) some of you may have heard of it, I am currently doing writing and some limited voice acting for it. The other project I am not officially apart of but have been following and contributing to since the days of it being a wee babe on the vast open space of moddb. It is now a standalone free game on steam by the name of No More Room In Hell (linked if you scroll over the name) I am largely involved with it and talk to devs and map makers on a regular basis, I test, brainstorm, etc.
Uh, not much else to say, stuff about me. I enjoy writing, video games, music, drinking, cats, long walks, death, zombies and drugs. I am on steam a lot even when I'm not playing to just talk to friends. Some games I enjoy are of course all Fallout's(yes even you Brotherhood my little problem child you), all the Elder Scrolls (Morrowind and Daggerfall are still my favorites, Morrowind being one of my top favorite games of all time). The S.T.A.L.K.E.R series, No More Room In Hell, Zombie Panic Source (does anyone even know that game here? I still play that all the time and I'm an active admin), Dark Souls series. Of course I could keep going but I'll keep it at that.

Thanks for the welcome, and yeah I enjoy Dust as well. I wish I was more talented in the way of coding or something to help more but as of late all I can do is write and brainstorm. Keep a close eye on it though because it's always being worked on and there is much more planned.
