My name is Robert. I'm a long time Bethesda fan, and I play fallout more than anything else. Ever since I got a PC that could handle it, I've been modding FNV to a ridicules extent. At this point I have logged over 1000 hours in fallout, and I've played probably 600-700 mods. Mostly ones I've seen from youtube. Speaking of which, I love alchestbreach, as I'm sure many of you do. He's the reason I'm on this website right now. I think it's really amazing how far the modding community for Bethesda's games has come. Over the years I've seen the nexus explode (along with alchestbreach's channel), and that really makes me happy. So I hope that by signing up on here, and contributing to the forum that I may find more unusual mods that I cannot find on the nexus, and that I may make my game even more interesting over time. On a side note, I plan to play modded fallout well into my eighties, so I'll probably stick around on this forum if that's okay with you guys.

I'm also a long time subscriber of Al, and I got into modding from his videos.
You'll certainly find unique mods here, both in the public releases and the motherload of mods you'll have access to as a Colonial. There's also plenty of known and experienced modders here whose work you may have seen on the Nexus too, as well as interesting topics regarding Fallout, Skyrim, and anything video game related.

AMEN! I did the same thing, thanks to a tax return and a little saving I was finally able to get mine two years ago. Gaming was drastically changed for me. And Alchestbreach is awesome, he's inspired me many a time to get a whackball group of companions for many of my games. My favorite being Crabcake, my mudcrab in Skyrim. He wore a tophat with monocle, and also had a very VERY foul mouth.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I used to roam around with a giant mole rat named spud. My plan was to learn to use the Geck, and make him stand up and use an assault rifle. Sadly I've never had the time to learn anything that complex in the GECK.

Thanks everyone! Nice to know that there's tons of people who spend as much time playing fallout on PC as I do. I believe I will very much enjoy this forum.

Al and ncrvet and many other youtuber keep me modding (i mod myself since only a few time)
i played near 700 mods too.
Modding is very enjoyable with the geck as full many possible creations,amazed to try,im glad i make the effort to start modding ,it is with the help off youtuber and modder from the communities (here nexus and some others) showing great mods here and there.
I think modders and mod players for fallout games will continue for a long long time!
