I'm hoping that within a few years, enough of a modding scene exists for Starfield that I can more or less turn it into Cowboy Bebop.

re-installed it and tried the new update (currently on beta branch, properly comes out on the 15th)
I have to say, it is an improvement, but there is still a lot to go before the game can be decent.
I think they put too many chips on the "1000 planets" thing, and I feel a lot of the game's progression got ruined by being locked behind NG+, which also made the progression feel like a repetitive grind.
