Converting .3dt file into GTA IV Empty

I have never really tried modding, but I found a 3dt file of a car that I really would like to see within GTA IV. I was just asking if anyone knew how or what to do in order to do it easily and make it work properly, including tutorials etc.

Any help would be great!
