I know Project Nevada allows you to unlock doors with explosives, in a much less complicated way than the Better Breaching mod. Just throw a grenade at a door and you're in business.

You can shoot locks, use a knife to shim locks....and you can craft breaching charges, with better breaching.

Project Nevada would really be the way to go as other people have suggested already. Just select it's core option and you'll be fine (if you just want the breaching and a couple options that can more or less be turned off).
