yes the courier is the same character from the new california mod i know because i saw the ending and it shocked me

I suppose being touted as a "Prequel" it should have been hint, still we should probably tag spoilers on this forum's title to avoid potentially ruining it for someone.

Omg it released? Man i need to follow the official mod page - Im so excited! And i agree with Lucian, this could the only good fallout experience in a while

@Obdulio Im not sure if its meant to be the courier (I refrained from watching anything to avoid spoilers) but I definitely want to carry over the weapons and items into the main game for sake of gameplay etc. @hitman47101 that is good to hear, yeah I plan on staying vortex free for NV, because newer mod managers just never seem to play well with it. Let alone not being able to manually change the order that is wild.

You could say that the 7 years wait for this mod's grand release is worth it.

I'm still in the middle of the mod (doing a scientific path playthrough for now) and I'm loving it.
Not gonna lie, I completely forgot about project brasil and then new california until I saw a video on youtube that the mod was out so I haven't really waited that long to play it.

I recommend it even if it mean to go back to new vegas after having played fallout 4 for 3years ^^

Story seems cringy, voice acting and scripting seems to be all over the place, and honestly, feels like fan fiction, which it should have stayed as. From the technical perspective, I'm surprised with some of the things the dev team has done, tho, and I can't think of any other single mod that lets you side with either raiders or the enclave. I play with TTW, so I can't play this either way


Anyone got any experience with modding companions? Taking weapons and armor that the mod brings, if I want to, is child's play, some of the companions the game gives you would genuinely fit in New vegas setting tho, for those who don't want to install the mod

I'm on my 3rd play, but doing different endings and play styles each time. still great and yea I hope it does allow us to bring the weapons we have into the base game too! as our fellow vault companions! I want to team up with cass and Kurtz. or Rex and B6-RK.

Yeah its a good mod, highly recommend. The various different endings as part of the mod were unexpected, but a great touch. The final battle was magnificent, well worth the amount of time you put into it.
