VaultBoy Hey all! Who's excited for April??

I myself have only made a few small & (not so impressive) mods and i cant wait to have the ability to build my own landscapes and npcs. I know they aren't as technical as developing advance mods or porting assets, but like i said i'm new and cant wait to learn how it works and get better. So i am curious to how many people who are new or have little experience plan on using the FO4 G.e.c.k. And what everyone is looking forward to.

Definitely ported mods and overhaul ones, Fo4 needs a new overhaul on its "rpg" elements granted it can't be a total overhaul maybe some smaller ones like the alternate start and etc.

I am so looking forward to alternative start mod actually. Honestly I am so sick of the pre-war intro already. I want to be a established waste-lander instead of some kind of "man of ages".

I want it so bad but at the same time, violently nervous about how broken it might be.

Still reeling from figuring out how the .nifs and everything work, so it'll be a while before I settle in fully to the new system...

I'm pretty darn excited for the CK to come out soon.
I'm actually looking forward to making more NPCs in the game.

I'm more excited what experienced modders are going to bring onto the table when April hits. It's going to be interesting!

I have to say i'm really very excited for it. Hoping there will be some major performance upgrades from the last few iterations of the software that will make it run smoother. I can't wait for all of the awesome mods to start coming out, especially gameplay styled ones like you folks mentioned.

I guess i should put it into categories:

Armor: There's a Midwest BOS Power Armor in the works and it's amazing and once the GECK is out, i believe it will come out shortly after and i love that armor to death.

Weaponry: i'm very excited for Millenia and his team to put out some of the really good stuff like back in New Vegas along with Dazzerfong, who's already put out one of the best weapon mods for Fallout 4.

Gameplay: Anything that overhauls the RPG elements of the game as well as a DUST styled mod would add so much depth to the game and give us more adventures to go on.

That's just some of the stuff i'm most looking forward to. What else are you guys looking forward to? Smile

I'm looking forward to more end of story mods..  few examples:

1 - Was the institute merely misguided puppets in the overall scheme of things..  Was there another organization that has been pulling the strings since the beginning?  Vault-tec maybe?  (it would fit with their MO..) Or someone else that has yet to be discovered.

2 - With the Brotherhood in control will they attempt to destroy the minutemen?  Can you thwart a disaster before it comes to fruition?

3 - Has the railroad truly been destroyed? Was the "Desdomona", "Tinker Tom" and "Doc Carrington" that you killed the right and true versions or were they merely synth copies that were temporary replacements while the real versions were being "interrogated".  Will the railroad rise again?

4 - Yes..  The Prydwyn was destroyed and the Brotherhood of Steal given a black eye but are they finished with the commonwealth.  Will a new Elder rise to power?  Will you decide that you want to try to bring them under your banner? Will the midwestern (or western BOS) send a contingent to teh commonwealth that was not as nice as the east coast BOS?   Or will you continue your war of attrition and attempt to destroy any and all remnants that you find?

The way I see it, there are a lot of unanswered questions and a lot of ways that the end game can be spun...  Smile Just need the Creation Kit before these can be brought to life....

I will probably fiddle around with the leveled lists (Using FO4Edit for that) and make a few bunkers and safe houses for personal use. I did the same with New Vegas but never considered the alterations worth submitting.

I will definitely look forward to an alternate start mod. It will take a long time for that to happen though since Bethesda heavily anchored the games story with the characters backstory and dialogue. Quest triggers and dialogue will have to be toyed with a lot. Whoever executes a proper alternative start mod has my absolute respect.

I really can't wait to see what the community will do with the world space.

Yeah I hope to make some Battlestar Galactica related mods, but as with the original poster said, I have limited experience so it will definitely be a challenge for me.
