So the institute in Boston is said to be called "CIT". Without spoilers, since I haven't got that far in the story, is it fallout's Equivalent of MIT? I was really hyped about this before release, but I don't think I will give one hoot about the institute if they belong to some unknown school.


EDIT: Silly me, I forgot that there are no states in the world of fallout anymore, just the 13 commonwealths, therefore the 13 stars on the fallout flag. I guess it makes sense to rename the Institute so it doesn't represent a state that doesn't exist anymore.

Yes it is. But as it's an alternate reality/timeline some names have been slightly changed. Same goes for CIA which is branded DIA in game.

Wish there was a mod that just made the characters refer to it as MIT and just stop the confusion already.
