I occasionally have this load error. It usually happens if my New Vegas game crashes, but it's rare. I know I can fix it by restarting my computer, but that takes a while and if I'm really in the mood to play Fallout, I don't want to wait for a reboot.

Is there some easier/faster way of fixing it again? If I get this error even once, I cannot launch the game at all until I restart my computer.

Do you use 4gb launcher?

Close steam, go to your Steam folder, and delete the ClientRegistry.blob file. Then re open steam. That should fix it. Had that problem many times.

I used to until I used FOMM for TTW. This problem has happened with NVSE, 4GBNV, and FOMM.

I haven't tested the "delete ClientRegistry.blob" method yet, but it seems to work if I close Steam through the task manager and re-launch it. I'm thinking it might be a problem on Steams end.
