I frequent a picture sharing website(Funnyjunk) and have a few subscribers there. I'm willing to be that if I posted about this website there, I could get a few people to join here.

My question is should I? I'm not sure if this is some exclusive club or just a lesser known site that wants more members. I figured it best to ask before doing anything.

This is just my opinion, but personally I'm not a fan of 'random influx of random people'. That happened a few months ago because of someone else who joined, and there was a whole lot of drama and ugliness that stemmed from that. People who were used to the 'say and do whatever the f*** I want' places on the internet, which doesn't fly here.

If you know people who have a genuine interest in communities and gaming/modding, etc, that's one thing. But to steer a bunch of people here just for the sake of it would likely cause more problems than its worth, if the past is any indication.

Fair enough. That's why I wanted to ask first so I didn't cause any kind of problems. I may know of one or two people, but no promises.
