The multiplayer matchmaking is crap.
You go to a mission trigger and rather than give you the choice whether you want to host or join the game goes "No, ur joining" "But GTA5 I want to host" "YOU WILL JOIN YOU BITCH AND YOU WILL HATE IT".
So you join and its a lets say 8-16 players mission, the game wont close matchmaking at 16 oh no no, it will let anyone join.
Without team balancing, cause default setting for that is Off.
What else...oh yes, already I've bumped into aimbotters or people that host ridiculously long missions just so people leave before its finished and become Bad Sports.
Overall, the multiplayer experience is shtako. I recommend gathering all friends you can into a huge crew and ONLY playing with friends.

So, let's assume we end up with a crew of 16, could one of us, in theory, host it and the rest of us join so that it's 6 v 6, but only us GUNners?

*EDIT* I've downloaded the Rockstar version (non-steam). Until everything has finished downloading/installing I'm not sure of the set up, but I assume I'll have some little program in my system tray where I will see all of my online friends? (like steam)

Actually you wont It will only appear ingame.
And adding the non-steam edition on steam...wont work. Game wont launch.
I recommend windowed mode or voice chat.
And yes, you can host all activities for friends and crew, without outside interference.
Plus you can make your own missions and THEN invite crew/friends to it
So lets say I host and invite all GUN crew members and we can play without pug/random people.

I will be I won't be playing it until my school semester is over. In addition I'll be working over summer with Frontier taking up a lot of time. Hopefully I get some moments to chill with you guys in GTA.

My laptop wont handle GTA V just because I don't have 60 gigs free and I would be stuck at 10 or less fps .
It might take some time till I buy me a better gaming computer so I can enjoy GTA V.
But if someone would record and upload it on YT how you guys rob some banks or something like this I would watch it . So if someone want to record all the fun let me know .

My internet isn't that all good for uploading, but i will try tome make some videos from gta online.
Actually i made some videos, but the game starts to do some heavy stuttering after some 10 minutes, poor optimization or something :/

well i bought the game 2 weeks ago and played it 2 days ago and when i see public lobby's theirs like lvl 10 and under lol. i think we should name the crew VGUN stand for video games underground network. and i think the color crew should be gray and a silver color scinse it goes with the backround
