hey pizza. you choose not the easiest image for a banner. to get the whole image on 900x200 you have to scale it a lot. yours is kind of deformed a lot when you want to thet the whole image in hight to fit the size of the banner.

so you see what i have done. there is no chance to get the whole image to fit the size without to edit the left and the right side. but if you scale it a bit out and strech some parts of the image so that it doesnt be noticed that much. then you have a nice looking banner.

you font is good but i would choose withe as color. maybe something in yellow or a light orange. with some outlines and throw shadows under it to get an 3d effect.

Thanks, i'll make the edits immediately...these are the first banners i make and i have much to learn.

@pizzamonster94 - take you time try some different things out. maybe watch some tutorials on youtube about lettering effects. they helped me very much.

1. i wouldnt make so much lettering in the picture. only "gunetwork" is totaly enough. why - because the image is very full that means there is a lot of action in it. so your eyes is focusing on more things what happen in the picture. now if you add that much letters and sentenses it will overfill the image. if you have a simple one like for example only one deamon without a background then you can add some more sentences and it will look good.

2. i wouldnt mix that much fonts. you got in the middle the doom font or a heavy metal font on the left it looks like a space font and on the right its a default font.
i would go that way. - delete the lettering left and right and keep only gunetwork with that font (its realy great). make it a bit bigger and be sure its centerd! then use the effect from your alt version but only on the letters not on the whole image.

My copy of Doom just came today. It took Amazon their sweet time for sure. But it came and i love it. Just like the old Doom games. Amazing amount of fun and i will probably be playing it for a long while.

Anyways i made some banners for Doom aswell. Hope they are good.

How do i edit them for less stretched and wider?

the best and easiest way is to scale the image out but then you lost a lot space, so you wont have the whole picture in the banner.

can you post the original image here. i will show you some ways.
