Im starting a new character and he's going to be like a hired mercenary but I need some new weapons. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

First thing that comes to mind is just going on nexus and searching for "tactical" keyword on Nexus, Milennia also has some weapons that have good attachments like silencers, scopes, red dot sights. Dont know about mods on VGU, yet, maybe someday ^^""

You could try RSA on modgames and the Bf4 pack in the public section,looks pretty tactical to me.
