@klaatu27 Let me ask you a genuine question. If you are only playing it for the gameplay, why are you playing this of all things? Why not a different game? Because there are other games out there that have vehicles, and much better gun play, and they don't need to be modded to the extreme. It's not as if you are getting anything unique, every single action scene was plagiarized from a different franchise anyway. And if it's Fallout what you like, well then FO4 and F76 have much better gameplay. You could say "I like NV" but that's the thing, the Frontier is not NV in the slightest. So, why suffer with the archaic gamebryo engine when there are better alternatives out there to get what you want?

For me it is enjoyable, I dont care if it is an old engine or if frontier does not have the essence of new vegas 
I don't want a call of duty, I just want to keep playing with my currier on new adventures

In Phobos's defense, that was a photoshop made by a 4channer. It's why he ragequit making that Enclave questline he was making. Initially, they weren't going to include the Enclave for reasons already listed, but then Phobos agreed to make an Enclave questline to satisfy demand. Shortly after, someone asked him if he ever heard of "16 tons" by Tennessee Ernie Ford, and Phobos responded using a line from the song "some people say a man is made out of mud." His reaction was sort of justified though in my opinion. 4channers literally sent it to his employers. That overstepped the mark in my opinion, but it's the internet I guess and these things happen.

Last I heard, Phobos did write that and when he was caught, claimed it was photoshopped to cover himself. And the thing is considering everything else he said and how he was treating people, that doesn't sound too far fetched.

No, so, Dragbody's real name is apparently Richard Spencer (I hope I'm not doxing him or anything, as far as I know that's public information at this point).

People saw the name in a list related to the mod (*I don't really know whether it was for patreons or contributors or what exactly) and assumed it was the other Richard Spencer (you know, the guy responsible for the Charlotsville fiasco who goes around saying the US should enslave Haitians), forcing Drag to come out and clarify things and ensure the community that despite his name he was not in fact the leader of the Alt right under an alias.

If you had the opportunity to do so, how would you rework the Frontier?

The mechanics and the worldspace are fine. But I would rework the NCR campaign from scratch starting from a clean slate, heck I would rework all the faction quest lines. As well, I would get rid of the Enclave entirely from the mod including the Space Station, as well as the Liberator.

Also for the NCR I would rewrite them so that they aren't exiled, rather they are sent there as a sort of expeditionary force scouting out Portland, Oregon as a potential expansion. And well there is emerging factionalism within the NCR military between those loyal to the Republic, while others want succession seeing as they would rather take their chances forming a new nation.

@Aznmagicalman When you have to completely remake all 3 MQ, cut half the content and rewrite half of the dialogue, there's not really any way to rework it. You just take the vehicles, put them into NV and let the mod rot in its grave.

second post with a LOOOOOOOT of hate I see from frontier, im so far to play that, but so curious.. Im starting right now watch a gameplay on youtube ahaha

Please pardon me for this upcoming rant but i feel i really need to get this out of my system regarding the Frontier mod.

The Frontier's entirety could've been better if the writers of the mod. were kept in check and in line and if it not for the Constant "Hero worship" for the Courier which is down right Annoying, let alone the majority of speech checks and unique dialogue options makes your character looked like he/she was constantly in Horny.

and don't get me started on that Hallucination segment which took "WAY TOO FREAKING LONG!" and has gone way Too Over board with the amounts of Torture and Gore Porn it has, and somehow that segment want's to put you on a Guilt trip for the thing's the player weren't even directly responsible of. as if saying "killing is bad war is bad". when there's practically a Side-quest for the NCR that lets you gun down civilians on a settlement on a Bridge. talk about Hypocrisy on that segment.

and a lot of thing's don't make any sense in the ncr main quest especially after you killed voss, considering his shuttle was hit by an asteroid and pieces of it along with the C-Finder had fell and burned at the Earth's atmosphere and somehow for some Stupid reasons the C-Finder landed near the legion Hq, and was it not only unscathed from falling on such a high altitude and somehow didn't burn to dust on re-entry. but it was functioning perfectly like nothing bad happened to it.

Another thing i like to point out is the "Main Antagonist" Tiberius Rancor. this F#!$!$!! guy! has got to be the most inconsistent PoS of a Villain in this mod. as in whichever faction you choose this Guy's back story if you so choose to listen to him. Doesn't even make any sense, when you go ncr he'll say he was tribal that was assimilated to the legion. if you choose the legion side he'll say he lived in a small town and had a wife. and then finally if you go crusaders he'll say his from ncr. i mean what the Flipping H! is wrong with this guy. what is wrong with this guy!? also during the legion run when valerius sends you to kill him he act's like his innocent and just a victim of circumstances, but when you go NCR he act's like a Bootleg Version of Wesker from Resident Evil. and if you go with the Crusaders he completely looses and Blames the world for everything.

The only few good things about the frontier are the drive-able vehicles/mounts. some decent looking armor and weapons except for the Nano Armor, that thing can go straight to the garbage bin eugh!.
and the Companions are far better written than the entire mod. and the Side-quest's though not perfect, they are better than the main campaign and far more enjoyable for the mod itself.
i specifically liked Donovan and Lot's Quest as Lot's story is him getting Punished for all of the things he had done, and Donovan's quest for redemption is the complete opposite of lots.

Fortunately it seem's some modders like tgspy had already made a patch for the frontier that get's rid of annoying parts that Devilswish made, such as the Hardcase mission,tank battle and the trochili among the list of thing that a lot hated in the mod. and also some of the Remaining members of the Old Dev. team (along with some new ones) of the frontier has already started re-making the mod. and it seems that a lot of Devilswish's work and other members are either gonna get re-written or completely removed from the new version. in other words a Huge chunk of the mod. will be removed. and i wouldn't be surprised if it includes all of sex dialogues and Fetishes on the mod which can be considered as junk files.

and finally i apologies for this rather long rant regarding the frontier, as i said earlier i needed to get this out of my system on just how bad the frontier mod. is despite some good things in it, as the bad stuff out weigh the good things about this mod.
