I've read through I am Legend, and I don't really know if I liked it. It was a clever idea, but it wasn't necessarily a Horror story. The short stories included with it are pretty hit and miss, with He Who Kills being pretty cool, but one with dancing corpses that I really thought was dumb. I don't wanna finish it, but it's left me wanting more horror.

Yes, creppypastas count. Used to listen to them at work when I used to be allowed to at my first job

It was a really good read! Does it really count as horror, though? I'd say it was a little more of a mystery, though reading of some of the crimes may have been pretty spooky. Such a shame the twist is so well known. :/

Scary stories to tell in the dark is a book series that I used to read when I was younger. Havn't really gotten into anything else since then. (i'm a coward) But you can read the stories online now.

I LOVED the art for the one with the girls and the drum.

Oh my gosh, I remember going to the library to the dark area, furthest from the door and checking those books out almost all the time, and nearly crapping myself from some of that art. Such a shame they changed it in recent releases, as it was part of what made it scary. I don't believe I checked out any other horror books, just those three, until one of them was lost by the library due to damage.

And they always had the funny chapter, too, like the ghost lady disappearing.

And then there's the poltergeist one where the son is hypothesized to be the poltergeist due to extreme stress and puberty.

I also remember not understanding Harold until recently when I realized he stole the other dude's skin.

And then there was the text message chain with the ghost girl.

Dangit, now I wanna pick them up >.<
