Personally, as a huge DC fan, I think I want to know what other DC fans on this site think are the absolutely top tier, best DC comics they love to read. I'm excited to hear your thoughts.

Personally I am a huge fan of Batman: Eternal. Quite unknown compared to the heavy hitter classics part of DC, but I love this comics. A long fantastic saga with the whole bat family involved, tying quite a few members of the rogue's gallery in as well. This is a bat comic everyone has to read.

Do the Vertigo Comics count ? Because if so, then I'd probably choose the Sandman. I know that it's a pretty cliche choice, however when taking into consideration how spectacularly it is written, where minute things from previous issues end up being neatly tied with the overall story later on is rather outstanding. The world is also quite interesting, and its metaphysical aspects are a great way to make some more outlandish ideas work. The characters are also very human and multi-dimensional which is always a plus.
