This contest is to celebrate the spookiest time of year, Halloween! Submit your screenshots from any game, any genre with the main focus being Halloween! Costumes, candy, spooky scenes, crazy monsters, skeletons, all apply in this contest! Instill in all of us the bone-chilling thrills the season is famous for!

Submission period starts TODAY!
October 16th - October 30th
After the submission period is over, our team of judges will decide a winner with an announcement by November 4th.

Now, onto the real reason anyone does anything nowadays...AWARDS!

5. Everyone who participates receives a guaranteed +1 rep from the organizing committee.

I really don't like Horror games, mostly for its jumpscares.
But sacrifices needed to be made for some cool "Layers of Fear" screenshots.
"Layers of Fear" has a lot of "warm" fireplace rooms aswell, but I felt they didn't suit the halloween theme.

Usually when a jumpscare comes I get startled, fling my mouse so I look up a bit and then smile and laugh it off.

No trick-or-treaters in bogus-ass store-bought costumes or mutilated pumpkins with candles in their hollowed out brains, but I thought this looked quite spooky and foreboding. I took this screenshot during my Let's Play of Far Harbor.

I love halloween theme and haunting / scary stuff in games. Even though I don't play games like Outlast, games based on jump scares does not interest me. But some games, like The Witcher, has a great atmosphere which fits the theme. Happy halloween.

creepers huh, it was a reference to a scene in jeepers creepers, a sepia tone would have probably looked better.
I thought I would have lost to "Witches they are plenty" so congrats to @Hauntedghoul, loved your screenshot.
