Does anyone know how to change weapons damage in the Creation Kit? I make all the changes but once I start playing is as always, everything's the same. Do I have to do something else besides changing the base damage? Also, when I open the .esp the changes are there, but ingame there aren't.

Change the damage. Save the esp. Make sure you enable your new esp in your mod manager.

Done it myself in fact. Hunting Rifle is useless in vanilla so I buffed it. Then I made the alien blaster the same as the FNV one.

But once I start playing, the gun has the same damage as it use to have.

That can't happen. Unless you have a mod conflict. Tell me exactly what you did.

Opened CK, selected the .esp I wanted to modify as set it as active file, looked for the gun I wanted to modify, double clicked on it and changed the base damage. After that I just saved it and that's it.

EDIT: Fixed it, it was a very silly problem. I was editing DOOM's merged weapons .esp but the gun I had i my inventory was from a different .esp before he merged his weapons in a single mod. It's hard to explain but thank you very much!!!
