I'm new to modding in general, and have tried to mod Fallout New Vegas. Currently, I am trying to install Dusty's armor mods (the VGUSampler and the MegaPack). I've tried everything that I could, including adding the mods to NMM (because FOMM does not work for some reason) and turning on the .esp and .esm there, but to no avail. Could someone please help? These are very cool looking armor mods and it would be a shame to not use them.

Alright. I would recommend going to the Skyrim nexus and searching and installing Mod Organizer. I find it to be a much more useful tool for modding. After installing it and setting everything up, go to the icon that looks like a PC case with a disk in front of it. Find where you downloaded the mod, click it and install it. Make sure the mod is checked in the list, then launch the game from within Mod Organizer. everything should be working at that point. If you check your pipboy, you should see a marker on your map called Searchlight Ranger station or the like. Fast travel there and look around the base's interior. You should see a safe or container of some sort that contains the armors. Cheers, friend.
