I got the great flipdark29 to make me a jacket for my mod but heres what he said

Alrightey, here's the Tassel Jacket variant! Just put the new mesh and texture in the same folder as the jacket's other mesh and textures. 


I don't know how to put it in the same folder

maybe he means go into the 3d editor you use and replace the folders in there with the ones he gave you

this was rather vague, what files did you get? what type? are they set up in typical Fallout fashion?
are they game ready or just rigged models?

I think he means to replace the mesh and the textures with the current one. So go to the meshes folder where your default jacket is located and replace it (copy + paste or drag and drop) with the new one. The same thing with the textures.

You have to be more specific if you want to get any help. Are you talking about a mod? Fallout new vegas or fo4? ......... More details please!

Yeah... Most of the time in Beth's games, just install the textures as usual and rename the mesh you want to use to the name the old mesh you want to replace uses. Then, drop and replace the new mesh where the old one is located
