I'm a student game designer wanting to start modding fallout NV, can anyone give a few tips or pointers?

Hey! My advice would to just take your time experimenting in the GECK until you've got a feel for it. Once you've got an idea what every feature effects what, then start making you're own companions and NPCs, then afterwards I would start creating your own cells inside the game. Happy modding!

Maybe read and watch some tutorials ofr the Geck , bethesda has its own tutorials for it.

Also try small things and if that works go up in diffuculty , and up , and up untill your happy.

And also there are plenty of mods that are abandend and you can always ( with the authors permission) patch or update them , which are always appreciated.
