Subject: FPS Stuck at 30 in Fallout New Vegas Sat Jun 13, 2015 3:33 am
Is there some setting in a New Vegas ini file that limits FPS? I get a steady 30 FPS with absolutely no lag and should be able to get higher.

If you're using New Vegas Stutter Remover set fMaximumFPS = 60 if you want your limit to be 60fps. If you already did that you could turn off vsync in the fallout.ini file, set iPresentInterval=0. Hope this helps.

Fallout doesn't have a lock system on frames so maybe it's just your PC.

@Svide Fallout does have a lock system which as many other games is what is called vsync, although I believe it's locked up to 60fps, that's why I suggest to change the stutter remover ini.
