| Recently I have been fixed on making my games gunplay as realistic and immersive as possible. Alongside changing damage values for weapons, messing with NPC body part multipliers and such, I have also tried to install custom scope textures. One fairly neat mod that I found was on a Russian mod site, named 'SR Optics' (I think), and it replaces the scope textures of every weapon in the game (what I mean is, the reticule is replaced), and I was disapointed to find that the mod required all main DLC (I only have Honest Hearts), so I decided to use the scope textures in the pack to replace the horrible vanilla scope textures. It didn't work all that well. This was the result; The bright ring around the scope isn't an issue for me, but see the black borders on the left and right? This is the issue. I would appreciate it if someone were to share as to how to remove that - I know that it's possible, because these type of replacers are around, but I can't seem to access them. One supposed fix was to insert 'fScopeScissorAmount=0', but that didn't work. This is probably a noob issue that many know the answer to, atleast I'd like to think. Any suggestions? Again, I'd appreciate any help, and it would also accelerate my production of a weapon performance mod which I am eager to resume working on! AdotLOM _________________ |

| You missed the ini tweaking part wich is in the readme (in russian of course). There should be some screenshots inclueded on what to change and what to add. If you should have problems understanding the readme (if google translator spits something out wrong)feel free to ask me about it. |

| There is already a mod on Nexus wich replaces the scope textures with actual models. It's called Optics Of New Vegas. Not sure about the DLC requirements on that one though. |

That's initially the mod that I went for, but the scopes only work for vanilla weapons, and it also overwrites the weapon stats that I created. Hence why I went off to make my own. _________________ |

| As snowglobecollector said an ini tweak is needed, fScopeScissorAmount under the display section specifically and it needs to be set to 0, so it looks like: fScopeScissorAmount=0 If it's not there you can safely add it, do it in all 3 of your ini files. Hope this helps Edit: Oh sorry, i didn't see you've already tried fScopeScissorAmount, odd that it didn't work, are you sure you did it in all 3 ini files? |

Wait - All 3? Thanks, I'll check that out after I've re-installed new vegas My GECK has just decided to act up, not letting me edit any of my plugins without removing them _________________ |
