In the middle of a playthrough, I notice that most of the Old Female NPCs have pink faces. I noticed with Comms Ranger Scheffer and the 188 Arms Merchant.

The only texture replacement mods that affect NPCs I'm using is New Vegas Redesigned 2 and Dragbody's NPC Overhauls (Main, NCR, Khans, BOS, Powder Gangers, Fiend Preview, Legion, Novac). As well I am also using Mannequin Races (Specifically for Willow), zzJay NPCs (Only for Cass) and VK's pin-ups for Van Graff's, Farkas' and Usanagi's.

Anyways I uninstalled all of these NPC texture replacer mods, but the NPCs are still pink. I read elsewhere that it has to do with the main FNV.esm missing textures. I checked the vanilla files in GECK, and all of the old females are pink. Some characters affected by this like Ruby Nash, Old Lady Gibson and Jeannie May Crawford aren't pink thanks to Dragbody's mods, but checking on them with their vanilla textures with GECK they appear pink.)

Having checked the GECK files, there are different age categories. You have Child, Default, Raider, Jaded (NVR2), Old and Aged Old. Aged Old works normally for characters like Daisy Whitman, whereas Old is missing textures with all the skin being colored pink. Old Males are safe and unaffected, while Old Females are all pink.

I've reinstalled New Vegas and reinvalidated the files, as well as archive invalidation but nothing is working. Not sure what to do.

That's strange, did you reinstall the game without any mod? are you sure your mod folder is clean when you do a fresh install?

I have not. But I did check GECK in the files (Without including any other mod). It seems to be missing textures that are mostly affected in vanilla (Without use of mods), at least from my observation.

Prior to this, everything was fine a few days ago, nothing out of the ordinary since I did download a couple of mods. I may have to backtrack and see what other mod may be causing this.

And to be fair, I am kind of unwilling to uninstall all my mods, since reinstalling is a hassle, and I have fixed my game without needing to uninstall mods just to solve an issue. The most I've done is disable plugins.

EDIT: I think this may have been caused by Archive Invalidation in my attempt to fix my game after installing a different mod.

If the other textures are working then it's not an archive invalidation thing. Disabling the plugin does nothing if there is a bad texture, since the game loads the texture regardless.
If you're not willing to do a clean install then I can't help you fix the issue, sorry

My game works fine, its just the pink head is the only real issue. I would only uninstall mods if there is an issue that is causing my performance to go bad or causing my game to crash.

EDIT: Okay so I removed (Temporarily removed) the Textures - Characters file from the FNV Data file, and it works. The old female characters have gone back to normal! I'm just going to see what is causing this, since this is specifically a Character Texture issue.

Given the observation, it's safe to assume its caused by a character texture mod. And NVR2 is not the cause, given how the problem persists even without it.

So far here are my list of character mods I am using:
- New Vegas Redesigned 2
- Dragbody's NPC Overhauls (Main, NCR, Khans, BOS, Powder Gangers, Boomers, Fiend Preview, Legion, Novac)
- Mannequin Races (Only for Willow)
- zzJay's NPCs (Only for Cass)
- VK's pin-ups for Van Graff's, Farkas' and Usanagi's. (This is the most recent, this uses Mannequin assets, and the dev says he doesn't overwrite any other vanilla textures)
- zzJay's Improved Vanilla Male Body

EDIT 2: I solved it by unpacking the BSA files and overwriting the textures file with the unpacked BSA files., and then overwriting it with my old files (I figured out that it was the vanilla textures that were missing)
