hey every buddy I have a modded fallout 3 and it crashes every like 40 min and from what I can see a tale of to wastelands would help a modded fallout 3 run better but im a big noob when it comes to modding and all out that stuff and was just wondering if it would really help and if it was a pain in the butt to install and if I did do it would I have to restart my fallout 4 and new vegas play throughs
just a lost poor sole that sucks when it comes to this kind of stuff so let me all know what you think

Well you will def get better performance with TTW if playing fallout 3 is primarily your goal. Look up Take of Two Wastelands Over-encumbered edition if you want a pretty modded out TTW experience. It's a guide that will step you through installing + mods needed to help with performance. You can also probably find a more barebones guide or stop at the performance tweaks if you want a mostly vanilla experience and not many mods

The TTW community guides on youtube are the way to go if you're considering downloading it. The initial set up is easy from a modding perspective but I would put by a night for it, it has to process every asset, voice file, script, quest trigger and entire game world into the FNV engine. You're basically waiting for a long time, it's not actually that difficult once you do it, it doesn't require a whole load of modding knowledge to set up.

Plus the TTW latest version installs the script extender, the 4GB patch, Anti-stutter and JIP for you (If you don't know what these are, just know they are a pain for first time modders. This does it for you!) The performance increase along with the New Vegas reloading benches, hardcore mode etc are reason alone to do it, I would highly recommend it.
