That is true about at the time of the release of Fallout 3 a lot of people had forgotten fallout 3. After FPSs started to develop a lot of developers ditched the old isometric turn based style and wanted to break the bounds of 3D gaming cards in modern day shooters we now see.

Well haven't actually play any of those both yet, not a fan of turn based games myself.

yep Fallout 2 is still the best out of all of the Fallout game IMO.

and it even have an MMORPG port as well.

I think he might meanAshes of Phoenix ,I have yet to try out the first fallout's so I couldn't tell you if its similar or not.

I have wanted to try out the first fallout's but I haven't gotten around to buying them.I heard they are really great game despite the camera angle.

Never played them. First time that I heard about Fallout was when FO3 was released, and I was like: What are the first two parts? When I found out, I realized that it's too late to play them, I mean their graphics were ... for 2008.

You mean 2005, haha. That's also one of the reason why I don't play it, too.

Its actually funny and sad at the same time to look back at games that you thought were so cool only to realize that the graphics, while good for the day, are an eyesore in today's standard. I honestly was shocked when I first looked at the earlier fallouts.

You're totally right. When I bought PS1 I was so happy, it was my first gaming platform and everything looked wow to me, now when I turn it on I can't believe that I used to play and like those games. But that's how it goes, once you upgrade, you always want more

I sadly never was able to play them, given the chance i would. Ive heard nothing but good things about them. Honestly i might get them one day just to know what happens.

I tried to several times but i couldn't get absorbed into the world. Maybe one day though ill find the appreciation.

Played both obviously not when they came out but I played them. I don't like the top down style of games but for Fallout I was willing to give them a try mainly just for the story and enjoyed playing them.

Fallout 2 will always have a place in my heart, I remember staying up all night during winter, it was snowing, my room had this trippy lava lamp on and me listening to Deftones on my ipod lol.

I was pretty young when I played FO1, and couldn't figure out much especially since English isn't my native language, then again I did learn alot of it from games like this, such as "trade" etc.
So all I really did was wander around and shot a few things here and there

I've been aiming to get them now that I can comprehend English perfectly and figure out what I'm supposed to do, but I always end up getting sucked back to NV by some mod

I'm admittedly a bit of a pleb in that I haven't played any of the earlier Fallout titles :/

I have been playing Wasteland 2 recently, and I'm loving it! Any else playing it? Or played the original? I believe it was the inspiration for Fallout, wasn't it?
