[FNV] Terrible performance over time with good specs.

As the title suggests, I am having an issue with the performance of my game. I have an ENB enabled (Chromatic Melancholy with DoF disabled) and have good specs for a modern day rig. The problem is that over time my framerates dip from an acceptable 54-60 in all areas of the game to 30-45 in nearly empty landscapes. I use Mod Organizer 2 as my manager, and have 167 mods enabled with 120 plugins, including a merge patch and a bashed patch (the bashed patch disabling 18 plugins). The full modlist along with my specs and a full plugins list are in the spoilers below.

Any suggestions to fix the issue? If it makes a difference, I have tested the game without an ENB and the same thing occurs to a lighter degree (takes a bit longer for fps to plummet).

Been a while since I meddled with New Vegas,but I do recall PN Extra Options giving me the same problem. Start out at around 40-50 fps and go down to 20-30 in the same area over time. May want to check that out. As far as I can tell it's not really that widespread an issue cause I've only ever seen one other post saying the same thing.

Sadly, and don't quote me on this, but it may be caused by the LOD mods. They'll likely put a lot of strain on the old 32bit engine with ENB and texture replacers and all.

Becuase new vegas is such a touchy game, it might have something to do with the amount of plugins and the issues with comparability and overwrites. You can use FNVedit to detect issues and make patches, but it may bloat your plugin list and cause some mods to take preference over others. Also some of the texture and effects mods in your list may have a hit on performance. This is more of a game issue than hardware. You could try some performance mods from the nexus or fiddle with mod features in MCM.

It may very well be the LOD mods I have installed, considering this is the first playthrough that I have done with proper LOD generation. As for the PN - Extra Options thing, I highly doubt it, considering the fact that I have used the same mod numerous times before on numerous other playthroughs with no issue. I'll be back with some results in a bit.

EDIT: After a run through Goodsprings and a trip down to Jean's Sky Diving, it appears that my frames are actually dropping significantly more, roughly getting anything from 15-50 on just that single road. I know this isn't normal for a game, so are there any ideas?

Also, if all else fails, I could just reinstall my game and redo my modlist and such. I'd just need some other modlist to go off of.

What is your CPU/Memory usage during these drops...?

My memory usage was around like 20 to 30 percent and my CPU usage was around 50 percent in game. I don't believe it was a hardware issue, but I could be mistaken.

20% of 32 GB is 6.4GB. Just a reminder that 32bit games can only manage 4GB of memory.

So assuming 2.4 GB was used my your system. Then you already maxed out and your game starts lagging out. It's not hardware but software issue. Nothing else to do but work with it.
