| Its no secret. Almost everybody loves the courier 6 character. Pehaps its that generic mcr ranger amor and pistol combo. Perhaps their motive, revenege, is so relatable. What do y’all think makes courier six stand above the rest of the fallout protagonists? |

| The way the game sets you up makes you feel like an epic badass, especially with the DLC. It goes beyond the usual "RPG character" archetype that starts you out as a nobody, and ends with you being just some guy who kills the baddie at the end, like in F1 or 2 or 3. The things you do are so over the top, it remind me more of some sort of anime, actually, I think NV in particular is more popular in japan than the other games in the franchise _________________ http://z0r.de/?id=293

| As far as I knew - He/she didn't stand above the rest. They're all pretty much the same, are what you make of them. Aside from 4 in some degrees. _________________ And I find, on my way to death and happiness, that my heroes, my heroes dress in black.

| It's because of how you role play the dude that makes him likeable. Me, I like the Lone Wanderer more than Courier 6 because, like the LW, my dad also died in front of me so playing the game is like being with my dad again. |

| Courier Six in many ways is the ultimate underdog. A perennial favorite of most people is seeing the underdog stand up and kick some tail after catching the short end of the stick. David and Goliath, the skinny kid on the playground knocking out the bully of the yard, etc. Easy to cheer for, the morality is simple and appealing. |

| I like him because he just doesn't give up, even after getting shot in the head he gets back on the saddle and gets the job done. plus his I dont care attitude fits perfectly with what is going on in the wasteland. His mama didnt raise no b!tch _________________ What do you mean another settlement needs my help?

To add onto this, the Courier also has an element of vulnerability. The game starts with him/her getting shot in the head and buried in the ground. Doesn't get much more vulnerable than that. But then later the Courier is kidnapped by Elijah, then trapped in Zion, then kidnapped by the Think Tank, and then trapped in the Divide. Fallout 4 had a little bit of this as well, with the Sole Survivor witnessing the end of the world, getting frozen against his/her will, seeing his/her spouse get murdered and his/her son kidnapped, and then waking up to the post-apocalyptic landscape. But because of the character being voice-acted and having such a specific backstory, some people couldn't get into the role as much. It doesn't bother me, but it does otherwise limit the appeal compared to more blank slate characters like the Courier. |

| Having the same voice actor as my boy Minato from Persona made them extremely enjoyable. Literally all I could think about every time I heard the combat sounds was Persona 3. It kind of gave me an indirect feeling of nostalgia, weirdly enough. |

| Thank you, gents. All good answers, though I haven’t played persona five.
