i highly doubt they would generate pre-e3 buzz like this just for another mobile game. Fallout 3 AND/OR NV remaster for switch is the likely scenario here.

I will literally die from hype if this is a Fallout game made by Obsidian. But the chance is very slim. I think this is most likely a Fallout 3 remaster and I'll be pretty happy about it too but not as excited as a new Fallout game by Obsidian.

Fallout New Vegas came out about 2 years after Fallout 3 is released. Fallout 4 came out around 2 and a half years ago and now they release a tease of a new Fallout game..... I'm definitely keeping my hopes up.

I will be so mad at Bethesda if this is a new Fallout mobile game.

Good worldbuilding, near non-existant RPG elements and targeted at a demographic for the sake of money.

All this waiting has sort of painted them into a corner I think, anything less than a spin off will and should be met with fury, even fo3 remastered isn't worth this hype especially when I can just mod fnv and install TTW and get pretty much the same if not better result.

Unless of course it's Fo3 in the Fo4 engine.

Fallout in Canada? I'm thinking Fallout in Canada. Do you know how I know? Well, if you look at the "Please Stand By" screen, it's kinda blue. Blue...Snow can look kinda blue, therefore CANADA! Because Canada equals snow!

But WAIT! That's stupid! And ignoring a VERY important detail! There's a hint of green in that "Please Stand By" screen! So I'm thinking it's ACTUALLY Louisiana. Why? Swamps. Everybody knows swamps are blue and green. Because Earth and Water. PLUS they had a swamp in Fallout 4's Far Harbour, which had crocodile deathclaws and stuff PLUS Fallout 3's Point Lookout was also kinda swampy, so clearly this is something they've been going for for a while.

I would also say Louisiana seeing as how Bethesda has mindlessly dug up every last bit of patriotic propaganda I MEAN..."Americana" that they can first with Washington DC, then Boston, so Louisiana seems to be the next logical step as an old colony state. Lotsa stereotypes and cultural references to be plundered here. And as an East Coast location Super Mutants, Enclave, Androids and Brotherhood of Steel can all inexplicably be there. And there are assets both from Far Harbour and Point Lookout to be reused (cos boy oh boy do they like reusing them assets) PLUS Fallout: New Orleans has been a running joke for years now.

Anyway, them's my predictions and reasonings.

Probably for Fortnite BR hats.

So, does anybody remember when FO4 came out and they did this exact same thing for that? I doubt it will be FO5, but I highly doubt they would put something like this together for some random mobile game, which means... maybe another third party FO? it COULD be another mobile game, but like I said, I doubt it. It's rumored that a FO3 remaster is coming to the switch, so this could be that, and if that's the case then I'll definitely pick it up.
As much as I complain about FO3, if it was just barely tweaked (aiming pls) along with the portability of the switch, id definitely pick it up and probably enjoy it more. I may still not enjoy the story but if its fun to play then its fun to play.
You know what, yeah, that's my bet, FO3 remaster on switch.

all i can think of is this one comment i saw somewhere after seeing all the hype

"FO5 better be good, if not i'll buy it and play it anyways"

Like a lot of people on sites and forums, I bet on a Nintendo Switch release of Fallout( 3, 4 ??)….Which is quite uninteresting for me...

So much hype for a switch port? Even bethesda is not dumb enough to risk such a shitstorm. Check out YongYea's video about it, he presents some evidence that could indicate a new fallout game.

i do agree that this seems to generate a lot of hype, and bethesda has contributed to this hype. So if this is a switch port or a mobile game the backlash from the fans would be huge

but enough people LOVE the switch though, so it could just be that.

we wont be seeing fallout 5 before Elder Scrolls 6 so its not that. so they either gave someone else a shot at fallout like obsidian got with NV, or its a switch port.
i don't see how it could be anything else.

All I can say is I hope it isn't as bad as Fallout 4... or Fallout 3... or even worse, Brotherhood of Steel.

Noticing Bethesda's track record, this is probably going to be an even more dumbed down version of Fallout. Hope I'm wrong because I would like to play a good Fallout game since there hasn't been a good one since 2010, but my hopes are quite small considering this is made by Bethesda.

i dont see a FO5 any time soon, but a spin-off could be done, and its where my hopes lie

If they do intend on a spin-off, it better be good but there is this constant fear in my head that it's gonna be a major thing for Fallout Shelter - maybe a sequel? Only time can tell....

I don't foresee a FO5 in the foreseeable future, but what I do want to see is a Elder Scrolls 6! It's been 6 years ++ since the release of Skyrim (Special Edition not counted).
