PostSubject: FNV: Hi-Res Texture Compilation   Sat Feb 10, 2018 3:11 am

Hey everybody, so I've been working on compiling a list of texture replacers for New Vegas. I think I have a relatively comprehensive list put together. In the spirit of discussion, what are some textures you guys wish had overhauls for? I really would love it if Honest Hearts got an overhaul, but I don't think that's really in the works.

Here's a link to the spreadsheet - lemme know what y'all think!

Edit: So, I don't really know which board this should have been posted in. I kinda want to keep it to a discussion of texture overhauls we wish we had, but if people would rather talk about the list then maybe I should just make a new topic in the modding section?

Hey, thanks for featuring my Holorifle Re-Projected mod. It's great to see that it appeared on GUN.

Thanks. Will absolutely use this the next time I get around to reinstalling NV. Thing is, that's always such a time-consuming affair, and I feel like I'll probably do that when I get a new computer, which should be sometime this year.

One thing I will say is that I wish the guns Millennia retextured were retextured again. I think some of Millennia's are pretty ugly, like the sniper rifle (which is just hideous), 10mm SMG, and 10mm pistol. The rest of them just look sort of bland. They were a massive improvement on the vanilla, at least for most of them, but it's been a looong time since those textures looked impressive.

Also, somewhat expectedly, the melee weapons have never been comprehensively retextured either, which is a shame.

@"ExoticRPGs" That was you??? I love that mod so much. Please keep up the good work! What other weapons are you planning on working on?

I saw that someone on the Nexus wanted you to release a version without the stat tweaks - I actually did that myself already and I can PM you a copy of the ESP if you want so that you don't have to do any of the work.

@"InnocentClarke" There's a few other alternatives to Millenia's weapons, but I haven't really gone through and done a good comparison. I really wish someone would make a comprehensive energy weapons mod as well. That's something that's definitely been lacking.

I think a lot of the DLCs need retexturing, to be honest. Old World Blues, for example, could really use a crystal retexture, and I think it would be nice to see a retexture for the Sierra Madre buildings.

Well actually, I have an ENB and armor retexture that are pretty much done and am currently working on a UI sounds mod.
