| Hullo people. I recently switched to Mod Organizer from Nexus Mod Manager because I decided I liked MO better (I used MO originally). Ever since I installed all my mods, I've had an issue where the game will either:
A: If started with NVSE it fails to start at all.
B: If started with the 4GB Launcher will start but display a black screen permanently.
or
C: If started with the default launcher, the game displays a black screen then crashes.
I've tried all I can think of to fix it... here is what I've done:
-Make sure all esps have correct masters -Reset Ini Files -Attempt to Launch without an ENB -Attempt to Launch without NVSE or 4GB -Deleted all mods files and verified integrity of game cache -- (Reinstalled) still somehow crashed when game is launched through either NVSE or the normal launcher. Therefore I don't think it can be related to any mods.
If anyone has any ideas I'd love the help, thanks in advance! |

| I believe that the best route to take is to do a full reinstall, start a fresh game, get the newest versions of your mods, and watch your load order. Also, make sure that in the archives tab of mo, that the archive invalidation file is on the very top, and that all your bsa files are ticked and managed. This may help, but other than that, you can either reinstall. Or, you can go down all your mods one by one, and enable them and disable them, finding out which ones work and which don't. It's a tedious process, but if you really want to get it working, then that may be the best bet. Also, did you delete any d3d9.dll files? They can cause crashes, however, you may very well have already deleted them. Hope that's of some help. | I recommend using LOOT and BOSS.
I'm sure you're not missing anything, but if one or two of your mods requires another mod (And the Mod author forgot to mention that specific file is required or is a master, that might work.)
I've had a similar problem myself, and I found an earlier version of my Fallout.ini file, and restored it over my other, and the game launched normally without any problems. |

| It could be a faulty ENB that is causing the problem. When you reinstalled the game, did you delete the entire game folder? Your ENB mod could've left some residue files in your install folder. |

| You need to make sure MO is set up to handle your archives. Simply activate it by clicking on the archives tab and then making sure all of your .BSA's are selected. _________________ - Can you figure it out?:

| When you are launching the game using NVSE or the 4gb launcher, are you launching from within MO or are you going direct to the exe on the drive? (Your first post did not specify). If you are launching them directly that could potentially cause the problem you noted. They have to be launched from the run button in the upper right corner of MO. _________________ - KCCO
