hi there i was wondering what is the best program to use to mix and match armors or even armor from other mods. Thank you for taking the time to read this it is greatly appreciated

You should be able to do that with the GECK, the official modding tool. There could be other ways, but the GECK is your best bet.

For more advanced mixing and matching of parts I'd recommend nifskope. There are many tutorials on youtube.

you should try the basic G.E.C.K, btw if you planning on using other people's mod resources you should ask for their permission first

I think @falloutveteran20 can help you. I think they use a tool called Nifskope but I dunno how to do it.

As the other said Nifskope is a great tool and not too complicated to use. Recommend it.

Nifskope is the best and easiest way to do this. It's basically copy/paste. Just look in Youtube how to do this and it should be easy to do.

(the most simple mesh editor available for fallout i suggest practicing with weapons first since if you dont combine armor mesh properly your game will CTD when the armor is equipped)

i combined alot of dragbody's armors using nifskope to get this armor looking the way it does its countless armors mashed into one





for very advanced mesh editing download all of these files and install as instructed

blender is pretty difficult to get use to so take it at your own pace otherwise youll just give yourself a headache and get frustrated and forget most of what you just learnt lol
