Hey guys As you've noticed, there's a lot more blue here than it used to be Mostly because I love Batman
just kidding I wanted a break from the dismal gray of the old site design. Back in January, after I had to disable the Christmas theme and we went from that beautiful green to our basic black and gray, I felt sad, like I'd torn off the leaves from the last tree's last branch. It was then when I told myself that I'll add more color to our home, and what better opportunity than our 1 year Anniversary?
I know, probably Valentine's Day would've been a good chance, but I figure not a lot of us have that special someone, and I didn't wanna twist the knife in anyone's heart over that (including my own )
So here we go, returning to the old VGU's blueish roots, with new background and various other details. What we need, though, is collaboration. A single man cannot put together something enormous and magnificent. But fortunately I don't have to, because I have you lot
So I want you to suggest other image samples to place on the headers, other buttons for the topics and for the forums and subforums, and maybe even a cooler color palette.
All suggestions will be considered and all submissions appreciated.

I think the buttons should be more colorful, or bright, because the theme is pretty dark-colored.

I personally think it looks fine, but the blue beehive things are kind meh.

I like the blue, and the honeycomb between these posts. Looks kind of science fictiony.
Definitely like the blue flames on the triangles. Those look better now.

I was all like, "this looks different." Then I realized it was blue. I like it, definitely makes it more bright but different color accents would be cool. I like the wallpaper-esque design too.

I love the blue look. Actually I love how the site continues to morph to new colors, banners ect. Makes it unique and always different is fun.

I think the blue look is fine. But I kinda would like a black color and future wallpaper style.

Looks sweet man, nice job.
Guess ill have to get along with making some new banners and stuff, also love that first banner DVA, i like the integration of the pictures into the text.
hehe thanks I didn't include FemShep because she's optional not just by appearance but by gender as well I was THIS close to include Miranda next to Liara though but I thought one character/franchise is sufficient And Liara really did stick through all 3 games just like Garrus
anyway, high praise I'm very proud
I'll probably just throw all 5 of them in the mix eventually it's not like I've got a limit in that rotation there...

Too bad about the buttons it wouldve been nice to have those oh well. Love those banners though, nice franchises variety @DVAted +1 from me. I also made some banners let me know what you guys think.

those are beautiful, linoro let's see some of the other people's reactions before I put them in rotation
my personal favorites are the first two, but not because I've played the games that they're inspired from, cause I haven't, but the text fonts match much better by shape and chromatics
the next two aren't bad though, I just don't know if I would've applied that pattern to the purple letters in the 3rd, or that much angle to the italic red text in the 4th
still, quite excellent submissions
