| Greetings everyone,
since yesterday i cant use my skype program anymore. there was a update and until the update i got the message that there is a error 1603. after that my skype didnt work anymore. so far so good i deinstalled the program restarted my pc and wanted to install skype again, but as you can imagine it wont work. it always says error 1603. so i went to the the official skype page and tryed to fix that problem but still no luck. now after several hours about trying to fix it i thought maybe someone of you know how to fix that. if its of any help i am using windows vista 32bit.

| Its possible they've dropped support for that OS, Rex. Vista is pretty old, and I've seen a lot of newer/updated software that won't run on it. Have you tried running Skype in compatibility mode? |

nope wont work, same error. i have looked into the skype page there stands nothing about that vista is not suported anymore. i realy dont know what esle i could do. its very anoying because i have all my friends and family there.
this is what i always get....

basicly it says the key is not accepted

and after the message from the picture one it comes this... and this say there is a error 1603 during the installation it apeared a heavy error. when i click on ok then the installation aborts. and thats it. i cant do more during the installation. |

| thank you.. and i finaly got it to work again. i made a system recovery and it worked. thanks again for the help.
