Hello there again. i have been trying to create my very first port for an armor using Blender, Outfitstudio and Nifscope.

I kinda managed to get things working for the first port i have created (need to fit better with the female body overall.)

However i cant figure out what to do against the glossiness of the armor. Does anyone know a trick? Thanks

It's been ages since I did any sort of work like this. But first thought is that it's a problem with the specular mapping. I think some objects use that to define how glossy things are.

It's a pain but if you compare the nodes of your armor in NifSkope with another item the difference may pop out

In the textures: the "diffuse_D" texture must be without alpha in the "normal_N" texture the specular texture must go in the alpha, the more white the more brightness and the more toward black the less brightness
