| Hey folks, Fallout and overall post apocalyptic gaming lover here. Been gaming since the Cold War, and have a personal interest in outdoorsmanship, archery, martial arts and all post apocalyptic media. Found that the gravitas and on-point dark humor in Fallout has been lost in latter years, as we move further in time from the real world influences from the franchise, but still love the games. Full admission, was constantly on the search to make FO4 more gritty and realistic and found GUN. Came here for the mods, but am pleased that the site stresses comradeship between members. Would love to discuss any posts on archery, survival and preparedness and outdoors skills as well as Fallout modding. Can't wait to peruse the posts. That's it, I guess. Much gratitude to the talented modders out there, from a guy who's so technically backward his first phone was a Nokia bought for him by his daughter a year ago |

| I sure did, from their first day release Played Wasteland on the C64 as a kid in the 80s. Watched the Chernobyl events real time as they rolled out on the news. Watched The Day After and Threads on huge 80s TVs (basically a Radiation King, lol) and remember that there was an actual hotline for people to call if TDA emotionally rattled them. Good times. Great PA pen and paper, and PC games coming out. Way before FO we had Wasteland and Twilight 2000, as well as Cyberpunk and Autoduel/Car Wars. Now there's a title that should be remade for PC. Twilight 2000, surprised no company's grabbed it yet. |
