Please tell me I'm not the only one who cares about my character's weapon matching or at least not looking out of place with my armor/power armor. I mean I can't stand it when my character is using an improvised weapon like a tire iron with some high tech armor. Is anyone else like this?

@Null343 You aren't the only one. I cringe when I see someone wearing PA while using a 9mm. When in PA you should use heavy weapons, and preferably energy or explosives.

it's not just you , i always try to have a matching appearance , especially when roleplaying as a certain character (and by that same logic , i only use mismatched equipment when roleplaying a character where that makes sense like scavenger for example or on a first playthrough where i don't know what items there are )

100%. You walk the walk, you talk the talk. Makes little sense to run around in power armor with just a bloody knife. If I'm gonna rampage in PA I need my gauss/plasma/laser etc. weapons at the ready and primed so I look sexy and badass while doing so.

I actually take this to the next level. I create a theme around all of my power armors. I always include at least one appropriate melee assault weapon, sniper, and heavy weapon. (I also don't use the same weapon more than once) It makes the game way more fun IMO, because it forces me to play a ton of different playstyles, but always in power armor.

Trust me, I'm right there with you. I love Fallout 4/76's power armor and I usually go for a melee build so early game I'll be rocking a full set of like T-45 and then a baseball bat...
