Having just read through the FAQs regarding what this site is about, I'm in and I'm going to make a go of becoming a vocal member! Never tried being outward on the Internet before beyond Facebook, but something about the FAQs spoke to me.
Hello everyone! I never know how much to share about myself in intros like this. Like how much is too much or too little. Well I suppose I have an OC that I've had for years, even before I knew what an OC was. Usually I'll play games as that character, write sombre stories about him and generally use him as my online handle. I write other things too, like scripts and overly elaborate reviews wishing I could be picked up for journalism. I mention that, because I'd love to write a story for a mod.
I trained as an actor for two years and again, I mention that because I'd love to do some voice work for a mod. I have very little experience with voice acting, but am always doing silly voices and practicing accents.
I have no real clue beyond surface level buzzwords about how games work, despite the fact I play them like... All the time I have free. So if you see me upload a mod of amazing quality, that's not me and you should probably report that my account has been hijacked by someone with actual talents. I think everything game devs and modders do is basically magic.
Annnnyway, I think I've already written enough to unpack and for me to lie awake at night in a cold sweat asking "OH GOD, WHY DID I SAY THAT?" (that itself is going to be a statement I question later). But I really want to make friends and get to know people. So hi everyone...
