Hey, welcome to the site. It's nice to have you here. Are you referring to mods specifically from here or just FO4 mods in general?

To start, I'd suggest learning Mod Organizer 2 if you have not yet done so. It will make your modding experience easier by tenfold.

Hello there !! Welcome, I'm new too haha. For mods, you have an amazing selection here, there is a topic describing the best of the best, also there is a Sticky somewhere with every public mod here. 
Then you could also get some more mods from Nexus, generally speaking both here and there have great selections. I have plenty from both.

Also, like roflcopter117 said you should learn how to use some of the modding tools for the game. I would recommend reading about it and watching some vids on how to improve your modding skills (and maaybe just maybe you might even get yourself into modding).
