| Hey guys,
Cpt. Rex just suggested we decorate our forum with halloween stuff.
I want some banners 900x200 pixels
Should say VGU Network and Halloween details
some buttons to replace the ones in front of subforums:
^ in 3 variations
some other type of buttons to replace the ones in front of topics:
^ also in 3 variations
They should be related to Halloween stuff ... pumpkins, carved pumpkins (Jack'o'lanterns), spiders, spider-webs, tomb stones, candles, zombies and anything else you can imagine that would fit.
Colors - orange, purple, yellow, blue, black and maybe some red blood too, if you take it that far
I want submissions on this as soon as possible

| I just finished my Outlast one from a month ago!  Thought this would fit nicely to the spooky theme.   EDIT: Just did this for the funs after playing some Silent Hill: PT. Kudos to the redditor in r/SilentHill for creating this image. I only put some little effects and nothing grand.  _________________ Be My Friend! Earn ACHIEVEMENTS!

| alright  I'm happy for all of the submissions
a bit of constructive criticism on the banners
@Krizalid - good choice going with Michael Myers but I'm not sure the VHS distortion trick was necessary, or right across his face. still, it's your trademark, so we may as well go with it
@RQ - the first one, I don't really understand the picture itself, and the embossing effect on the text is a bit unnecessary. the second one is great! the third one has a good background but I can't really make out the text, it doesn't seem to fall in line with the pumpkins very well. I'd suggest a simpler, more visible font
@Krig - just Halloween related
@Undeadsewer - the first is alright, really creeps me out. I assume the green is from the night-vision mode of the camera or something. the second... I know the source of the pic, but it's not the scariest appearance in that game, and I really dislike the choice of font and text placement on it. plus, the whole left side is empty and bright, maybe too bright.

I just noticed we need another pair of 50x50 to replace these buttons:
and for the topics, the sizes are 25x25 (maybe skulls or bones? or little white spiders?)
Also, if you find some smilies that are halloween themed,
even if they're not made by you, feel free to post them here!

basically honoring Martyrs and other sacred dead people.
Was merged with the Mexican
La Dia de Muertos - The Day of the Dead
an occasion to honor the ones that have passed
by dressing up as skeletons and dragging coffins around town
like a morbid parade for after-life superstition and symbolism
Was commercially mutated into a festival of scary stuff
Celebrating ghouls, ghosts, vampires, zombies, skeletons, mummies and other monsters
Basically everything that should be dead but came back to life, except Jesus.
And just like Valentine's Day, it's spread across the world. From Japan to Moscow and Mumbai.
It's fun, it's a good reason to party dressed in extraordinary outfits and it's nice to look at.
We paint skulls outlines on our faces and carve scary faces into pumpkins
and eventually eat the pie made of the pumpkin's entrails, and jell-o colored as blood.
