Hi! I'm DK, you might be wondering why I made this welcome thread now, as opposed to when I first joined GUN in 2018. The answer is simple: I completely forgot about it. I had originally made this account to check out some New Vegas mods, but after making the account I got confused by the layout of the site and gradually forgot to check back. So, 2 years and 1 welcome post later, I'm back.

Generally, I'm more of a lurker than an active poster, but I'm going to try to get out of my comfort zone around here. I'm going to be completely honest and say that overall, my main motivation is mods. I usually do my mod downloading on Nexus, but sometimes I see a really nice mod in some pretty screenshot and after 15 minutes of different keyword combinations I find nothing. Mysterious mods are why I'm here. I wish to reach for the forbidden fruit. To infinity and beyond.

Now, about me, I'm a hobbyist artist and an aspiring writer of fiction, hopefully not delusional. My favorite Fallout game is New Vegas and I'm currently playing Fallout 4 and trying to patch it together with a bit of everything I like. I've been modding for around 5-6 years and started with Skyrim, a bit after it released. Since then I never play Bethesda games without modding them. Not because I hate them, but on the contrary, I love that they're so malleable and allow for such massive changes to their core. Essentially, you can turn them into other games and can fine-tune them to be something you'd love to play even more. I love that.

I know that since I made an account here I have expectations set out for me and I'll try to match them. I'm also grateful the admins didn't delete my account after ~2 years of inactivity. Thanks!
