Stumbled on this forum yesterday when I was looking for some guidance on porting assets over from FO76 to FO4 - have had a bit of a look around and the community seems pretty good here so I that I would I would stick around (wasn't expecting the number of quality mods on here either, which has been a pleasant surprise).

So anyway, I figured that I had better introduce myself - I'm DiseasedJupiter. I'm a relatively hardcore gamer (when time allows) and enjoy RPG and strategy games, as well as other genres but those are the two most prominent ones.
Currently getting back into Skyrim and Fallout after taking a breather for a few years and am now planning on modding both pretty extensively (any suggestions focused around adding more realism to either would be appreciated).

I'm a pretty amateur modder to be honest. I know my way around xEdit but have no idea when it comes to textures and models and that sort of stuff., so looking to skill up a bit in those areas. Haven't touched a Bethesda Creation Kit since Morrowind either, so I'm sure that I'll have a barrel of laughs with that.

If you want some mods recommendations, the two biggest game changers for Fallout New Vegas for me atm are "Just Mods Assorted" and "Project Nevada", both on Nexus. They just add so many helpful features.

Awesome! Thanks for those. Just took a look at a few and they seem to tackle a lot of the issues I had with FO3/FNV (could never quite get back into them after playing Skyrim and being able to sprint, silly little thing).
Hadn't planned on playing FNV anytime soon but I was only talking about it with my brother yesterday funnily enough and got me hankering to give it a go again, so definitely going to check these out!
