I've just been in the process of remastering FNV, the foundation of my mod list is Qolore's Viva New Vegas - it is an incredible guide especially if you want a stable, suitably modified yet vanilla FNV experience. In any case, I am here on GUN because I find the community quite pleasant, I mean who doesn't want to be part of a community? I've spent a lot of time playing ESO lately which is probably why I have that sense of appreciation for a community in gaming, I enjoy Nexus as well but there's no real sense of community there. I would be lying if I didn't also admit that I am here for Dragbody's mods. Certainly I have used and enjoyed @Burner9875's Remasterise ENB as well as @tuxek's Lil Bits mod, and am still exploring this site for other hidden gems. Which brings me to writing this post:

I wanted to ask the community, what mods do you use to compliment Dragbody's overhauls, and which ones do you avoid, for example JSawyer Ultimate conflicts with Powdergangers' Joe Cobb. By all means, share some screenshots if you want!

I use this one:
A lorefriendly power armor Loot
It distributes all of his fo4 power armors into the wasteland

Oh and i use FCO to enhance all NPCs not covered by his Overhauls

New Vegas remastered, to enhance NPCs. Just make sure to load Drag's mods after NVR so it doesn't conflict. Also, I use Sawyer's rebalance mod, and it works fine with the Powder Ganger overhaul. Again, just load Drag's mod after Sawyers, easy.

Other than that, I use a few mods like the Anti Material Rifle and Service Rifle replacers to make the gear the NCR uses look a little crisper, and more in line with their new models:

There's also a sniper mod ported from F4, don't use it yet, but I'm planning on, and it'll work to the same effect as the last two mods:

That is actually sweet! I am definitely going to use that power armour distributor.
As for FCO, I was using it initially with Dragbody, but i couldnt find a way to fix the double eye issue, although i was using a different mod list when i ran that combination. Have you come across double eyes at all?

JSawyer uses a script that forces changes in the game, so load order doesn't matter, unfortunately it affects Joe Cobb no matter what (i think it affects Barton Thorn as well to a lesser extent). There is a topic here on GUN that addresses this. Glad it hasn't affected your game though!

Which version of NVR are you running, I've long wanted to use that but i worry that it makes too many changes to other things like world spaces for example. I would need to open it up with xEdit.
