my aim on certain weapons is fucked up

so i am a few hours into my newest play-through and discovered something really annoying. my aim is fucked up on a lot of weapons, smgs in particular and i can't figure out why.
if i aim in 3rd person the shots go way to the right of the crosshair.

screen1:

when i go into 1st person and aim down iron sights the weapon model does not line up with the crosshair.

screen2:

but it does not happen with every gun. if i use an assault rifle everything is spot on.

i have tried disabling a bunch of mods but no luck.

before going further i figured someone here would be able to tell me if its likely an animations mod, or the body replacer thats likely fucking it up.

Looks like something happened with your true leaning or animations mod that caused a freeze of your camera position. Have you tried to isolate the issue to a single mod by unloading your mods on a test save?

yeah that was my first thought too but i disabled the true leaning mod, and any other mods that affected the camera but the issue remained.

Mod issues not withstanding, I found aiming in vanilla FNV to be a problem.

As for your issue, I've seen this with mod that have broken animation packages, and my first suggestion (if you aren't using MO2 apparently, never used it) is yo try a clean install and a new game in case there are errant files floating around from the deleted animations mod.

Same thing happened to me when I use any smgs. Gun is slightly off centered. I personally suspect that it might be an asurah animation patch or iron sight recoil animation, haven't confirmed this though.

yeah after more testing, and searching nexus forums for similar reports it looks like Asurahs pack is the culprit. trying to figure out now if i can find the dodgy meshes/animations files and remove/replace without needing to reinstall the whole lot.

Do you have the latest version of Asurah Reanimation Pack? Also you might want to try to put the esp to bottom of your load order.

ok managed to get it sorted thankfully. process of trial and error found that the offending meshes were
1hphandgrip5_M3.kf
1hphandgrip4_10mmsmg.kf

when i took those out of my 1st person and male folders the issue went away my aim on certain weapons is fucked up 1f600

Have you found any issues trying to use hunting shotguns with asurah animations? That's the only other weapon type I had a problem with.

nope, all shotguns have been perfectly fine. really only had the issue with SMGs

Then I'm guessing that its an overwrite/conflict with another mod for me. Seriously thanks for finding which files were affecting the smgs.

not sure what you mean since Asurahs "mod" was causing the issue.
if you mean did i reinstall the whole mod, yes i did and the issue remained.
those specific animations must conflict with one or more of the other mods in my list.

erm i already stated i fixed the issue by taking out the two animation files mentioned.
everything works perfectly fine with those 2 files removed.

It looks like some conflicting animation mods. Typically if the installer asks to override certain animations with mods, you will want to check and see what mods are changing the same thing. Use FNVedit for that.
