2 Years Later: It has been a long time since I have last spoken on my life. All I can say is that I have seen much and gone through much. My life has changed for the good or the bad I do not know. All of my allies once before are now dead. During a operation to prove my worth to the legion on day 30 I was told to infiltrate a BOS bunker in Texas and come back with intel on their inter workings. Soon however I found myself cornered by my own “allies” my squad from the Enclave had lowered from 10 to 2 members. We had had 3 deserters, 4 traitors, and 1 saboteur. I had personally killed them all... It would seem most “civilized” men were not fit for the work set before them in the Legion and saw it as barbaric. Me? I just saw it as a means to purifying the future of filth. So I found myself cornered by James and Sarah. Two of my most trusted and loyal friends along with 4 Knights and 1 Paladin from Texas. How did I escape you ask? Well this warrior always had tricks that he would never tell as I activated my core for self destruct and used a little trick I had collected from some by back at Rivet city saying he was from some sort of Institute. I activated the teleportation device and teleported to the entrance of the bunker as I had planned all along. When Sarah came crawling out of the blast her clothes all burnt and grafted to her flesh begging to be spared. I took mercy on her and made her my first slave of many to come. Only those closet to me even if they had betrayed me in the past would be allowed to live as a symbol of my failure and how I overcame them. Now I am in New Vegas preparing for a sort of battle at Hoover Damn but first I am to help expand our grasp. As I have been promoted to the rank of Speculator and given the title Blade of The South...

I wanted to make this post quick, short, and brief. I want to apologize for not following through with my promise. Unfortunately, mainly do to work I cannot participate until' further notice. I've been to embarrassed to post this. My sincere apologizes to the gunetwork community.

Don't worry about it dude. This entire playthrough thing every year is just for fun so no need to apologize for not being able to participate.
There's also no need to actually finish your playthrough to the end.
It's just a nice social event about playing New Vegas, sharing how your game looks and having a good reason to finish any wip mods you may be working on.

@3dlightspeed its totally fine mate, there is no need for an apology, I have the same problem right now, I started working at Taleworlds 1 month ago, now that we're getting closer to releasing Bannerlord, we are working really hard and I'm so busy that I can only have few hours at the weekends, but I'll eventually create my character and start playing, I hope.  

Bit busy guys won’t be posting for a bit celebrating birthdays and Valentine’s Day. Gonna try and beat the game in one sitting so I can release this a lot more.

Much of my early life was lost to me when a bad gangster holotape impression in a cheap suit managed to carve a groove into the side of my skull. It left my temple uneven and my ear tickling my jawline as peeled over my cheek like a banana yucca. I had come to because an old timer decided to play Frankenstein and patch me up; kook even had an Igor in the form uvva Cowboy robot like one of them old John Wayne or Reagan holotapes. It was all  gonzo. Still not sure why he had me naked when I woke up, considered strangling him on the spot, but nothing seemed off. But just as a petty get even, while his back was turned I pilfered all that I could carry from his place. Creepy old perv did give me a bitchin' readius though.

Upon setting out I found myself settling into old ways. Home invasion is pretty common on the West and North end of Vegas. If you're lucky, no one is home and it makes grabbing and getting a lot easier. Wrong door, and I see a mop of black hair with tribal tattoos reaching into her fridge as I open it. Not too often a set of eyes make me hesitate, but hers seemed more warm and out of place for what I was expecting to be a grudge match. She'd let me know she assisted the creep saving me from a shallow grave. I'd pointed out a few of her tattoos hoping to be a smoothie, but all I got were stories of her past. Tribal gal, same old story, until she brought up doctor training. When I say she broke out some mean chems, I mean buddy, I haven't been that lifted since I and the New Reno Rad Pack were out in the alley doing mixes of Med X & Turbo.

So, naturally, I invite this aspiring doc to be my new chemist personal physician. It's wonderful what the gift of gab'll getcha when it's needed. Make a few stops, get her some training, all the while I'll learn how to make some chems myself. Isn't long before we happen across a raider with a bike problem talks real funny. I want to believe it's an impression, but it's too natural. Seems to be with it, apart from how burnt out his eyes look. Make sure he doesn't see the stash she's carrying, or see how grey my own eyes are from the Med X off the old man's table.

The raider makes nice, introducing himself as Niner. He hasn't shut up about calling me Six or being an immature knob about the coincidence. Think he might be attracted to me. Hey, whatever he needs to think as long as he's my bullet sponge, and at worst, I can shut up his chatter with the 20 gauge if I lose my cool with him. Overall, I feel like a half ton of brahmin shit in a ten pound bag. But I think I just came up, and it couldn't be at a better time. I'm going to find that can't rub two caps together thrift store suit wearing dillhole and use that scattergun to wipe the smug look off his face, along with the rest of what's above his shoulders. I won't be denied.

Hearing that...criminals threats, Tarkan quickly organise townsfolk and prepare a warm welcome for bandits. All went as he plan - bandits died, pll was intact. After battle, same strange robot come to him offer a bounty if he can track dead Courier package. A chip. Platinum chip. Tarkan decide to try - at least if he go to Mojave Outpost, road goes in Primm - and there is a Mojave Express office.

Mister House & Caesar are no more. The Securitron army that posed a threat to autonomy has been wiped out. Helios One now serves as a beacon of hope, rather than a symbol of god like artillery. Senior leadership of the Brotherhood of Steel is no more, leaving them to rot under the direction of Ibsen. I will quarantine them later with the help of Salvaged Power Armor recovered from Dead NCR outside of McCarran Airport. They will have two options, stay in the bunker or receive citizenship. Their scribes will be useful in maintaining operation of the Dam and providing an education curriculum that isn't coming from The Boomers. The leadership of that group is damned, and not by my doing. With only the hotheaded Raquel & the spineless jellyfish Jack, they're doomed to fall apart once Loyal and Mother Pearl succumb to old age if another figure doesn't take charge.

I have wiped out The Omerta's leadership, Benny's brain matter still being cleaned from the Tops Casino floor as we speak. The Great Khans have all but moved out of New Vegas leaving me with Jack & Diane as the local chemists, hooked Delilah up with them and now have a dedicated source for chem procurement and manufacture while Niner provides muscle. He's been given a regiment of Psycho, Turbo & Mentats to keep him sharp. He's not allowed within the lab, and Anders keeps him from getting brave. I have helped the Garretts obtain a new stable & I have a new room at the Wrangler. The Ultra Luxe had a problem with its senior leadership, but that has been resolved and the problem party has been...removed from the board.

The Vault 3 fiends have been obliterated, leaving Vault 3 open for the taking. Vault 34 & Vault 21 refugees will now have a new place to call home. The Thorn is well stocked with beasts of every making, and I'm thinking Boone and Ranger Andy will do nicely to show these militia men how it's done once I push the NCR out of the area. They might not like that too much, but a sharp mind and silver tongue appealing to their sense of community & discipline will see me through.

The Battle For The Dam approaches. My compatriots are all either overseeing my individual operations across the Mojave or with me preparing for war. I expect much resistance, and I likely will have to leave Boone if I am to prevent outward hostility with him upon the tables turning on his countrymen.

Strange, a troops in a camp near Primm? He went to a commander tent and hear about some convicts taking over the city. And, that he just waiting for reinforcements to take city back. Tarkan cannot believe his ears!! A full platoon of troops cannot clear city from some.....convicts?!?!? What the hell is going on with NCR army?!?! Or maybe there is something else with thous convict? That has to be seen. And he need to see Mohave Express representative too.

So now he knows more for that delivery job. That may be bigger, than an just robbery.And, that convicts was no match for him. Looks like a huge problems with NCR troops! Tarkan decide to take a detour and see what exactly happens in that prison.

Tarkan find an ex-sheriff in prison, that tells him all about revolt. Hearing why Mayers is in jail, Tarkan convince him to become Primm a new sheriff - he know, that this type of ppl are needed. So he went back to Primm and speak with that commander again. He now know, that NCR assault is in order. But, Tarkan now has doubts about that attack.What NCR troops show so far..... So, looks like they will need all the help he can give them. While he do not trust that robot - he knows from a first hand, what a Enclave Hunter Drone can do. He menage to fix it and...what do you know, looks like it restart somehow and now Drone taking orders from him. Let see how that attack will go.

Think I might as well try and take part in this, although I may not contribute much cause I'm so indecisive w/ my main Courier right now, I'll at least try. It's basically my first time attempting a legit playthrough of the game in years. Might do a Legion playthrough if Drag releases his overhaul before I get very far. Anyways here's my VERY WIP/subject to change Courier profile. (Yes I'm using Drag's Arcade race)

I'm really sorry I was not more active with this earlier in the year. I was totally distracted by the Legion (which took longer to complete than I had estimated) and real-life responsibilities.

I'd love to give this 2020 playthrough a second shot! If you didn't make it before, or if you want to play again, let's go for it! The world is a new place with the pandemic and maybe a little dystopian role-playing will be a good way to unwind

The rules are all the same but I'm thinking we start around May 1st. I owe some couriers to people and I'm working on that now.
