Hello everyone, I have done some digging and can't find a topic about this but if so please direct me.

My question is whether there is a mod that can fix the third person aiming in new vegas as at the moment I have to aim just to the left of the crosshair at medium range and I can't hit absolutely anything over that.

Does this happen with every weapon? if that's not the case, the weapons that suffer this issue are vanilla or not? this is either a conflict between two or more mods that affect weapon spread, you know, those weapon overhaul things, or something else that i can't put my finger on.

Yeah the vanilla aiming sucks.

Sadly, most mods have this same issue. A lot of animation mods focus on 1st person, and can sometimes make the issue worse. Asurah's animation pack, while amazing, has a few wierd 3rd person issues too. If you're using Asurah, this may be part of the issue. Are using animation mods at the moment?

@Reece Field - Give this mod a try. It changes the third person camera and will adjust depending on your weapon type. It should fix your aiming problem and overall improve your third person experience.

Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions but none of which were the cause of the issue but something I should have seen. I was using an edited version of the camon packs trench shotgun in which I changed it into a lever action rifle with all of its stats to match the hunting rifle. The problem was that I hadn't changed the physical bullets only the ammunition that was required because after some digging I found out that different ammunitions have points were they will disappear from the game and because it was 12g ammo it was quite short. So you need to change the range of the weapon and then in the art and sound section change the ammo to ammo that fires at a longer range before phasing out of existence.

Now I am back to the bug of having to aim just off centre of the cross air which I believe is just a vanilla bug.
