| Hello everyone! Recently I started playing FNV again with a lot of mods, but I re-discovered a one very annoying problem. It's a bug with the sneaking in the Hidden Valley. I was behind a wall, in a Haradin room, but I'm still getting detected, even if he isn't there since he is in the completely different room. The guards also should don't see me since they are not hostile. So, nobody should see me. After running a bit, I discovered that its some Scribes, but I don't get, why he can see me behind a two walls. I know that it's some issue with the AI, but I would like to know if its possible to fix it somehow. Here is my mod list: - Spoiler:

| The issue here is YUP. I reported the same issue, but in OWB's Robot Compliance Test. I thought it was Vicious Wastes causing it, but turns out it's YUP. They changed a global setting in the esp that is connected with sneak and it's causing all npcs to see you even through walls. If Hidden Valley is already pissing off, wait till you get to OWB and immediately fail the objective even before trying shit.
The solution there is use FNVEdit and look for that global setting or whatever it was (I cannot remember anymore). The setting should be set to -5. Just delete that record and save and you're good to go. If you don't like tinkering with your stuff, best just use "tdetect" in the console. It just toggles off AI Detection. Best of luck you, man. |

Thanks! Actually, I haven't even played OWB, but I have seen Gopher play through some time ago, but I don't remember that bug. However, that was two years ago, so it wasn't changed back then probably.
Also, I will probably wait for new version, since it's not that important and I'm looking for some new story mods since the FNV seems quite empty for me after Gothic 2. However, for that I will make a new thread. I did almost every quest, except the Fraction quests and the ones on the Strip so it's quite empty. Also, I knew about most of the quest mods, but I would like to have some quests appear after some time in cities which I visited before. |
